At Myra Green Middle School, excellence is our standard. Recognized as one of the top middle schools in the region, we are proud to have earned an 'A' rating with an impressive score of 91. Our commitment to high-quality education has also been honored by Children at Risk, a respected research and child advocacy nonprofit, which designated Myra Green Middle School as a Gold Ribbon School—the only middle school in the Rio Grande Valley to receive this distinction in 2022-2023. This recognition highlights our success in providing outstanding education, even in the face of economic challenges. Additionally, we have achieved national recognition in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings for Texas middle schools, further affirming our dedication to academic excellence.
